Your first fall

Today (11th May 2009) you, my dear Aadu had your first fall in school.

When I came to pick you up in school, you asked me to pick you up…and i refused saying that it is a small walk to the Taxi..

When we were washing up at home, you started crying as soon as the water hit your knee…and then you told me that you fell down at the playground and that Kesahana (a girl in your class) had pushed you. Then you told me how Teacher Amanda had applied some white medicine on it.

You later told me that you had pushed Kesahana on the water….now I don’t know if you pushed her first and then in retaliation she pushed you in the playground or was it the other way round??

Knowing you, I think you pushed her first…because you are not a child to take reveng on some one….

Anyways, you called Papa in office and re-played the entire story to him, the whole time crying !!! Papa told you that you are a strong boy and you must not cry over being hurt..

But what hurt me was the fact that you did not tell me right in school that you had hurt your knee and that’s why you cannot walk !! Why do you suffer silently beta? I am moved to tears now that I can see you limping at home while trying to walk…

Love you Aada-baba, but please don’t suffer silently, we are all here to help you.

The bright side of today’s school time was that you got two stars on your hands and you go them because you did all the footprints….fish….something….this is all that you told me…
